Excellent care and attention on time

I went in for a SMOG check and it failed, it was a simple fix that was a computer issue - my car runs smoothly and has no issues. I was charged with a SMOG check and an extra $580 for them to take 2 days to basically spray something on a car part. Sam referred to me as “honey” and his communication was very condescending. I received quotes from Marina SMOG nearby for the same repair, and they would have charged me $105. Completely ripped off. They definitely GOT me on this one, don’t agree to their crazy prices until you get quotes elsewhere. Also, SMOG Oasis in OB will do a check for you and if it fails they won’t charge you. Sam would have happily charged me for a failed SMOG check if I didn’t fork over $580 for an easy fix

This place is amazing! I live in Tucson but my husband and I come out to San Diego quite frequently, most recently July 20-21 to see Jeff Goldblum perform at the Balboa theatre. Unfortunately our car broke down (steering pump issue) late Thursday evening, and we knew exactly who to call Friday morning to help. They were able to get us in, make a complete repair on my car and have us out the door headed back to AZ by 430p. We had found them during a vacation in Sept of 22 because my car suddenly wouldn't start without a jump and then after it died while driving it, they were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday & were the first repair shop or of multiple to finally discover that the alternator was the root of problems I'd been having for over a year. It's a long story for a review, let's just say that with every way that they test, and show you what's going on, and then discuss with you all the options, do the work and then discuss the repairs afterwards, it shows pride in their work and an honesty I have rarely seen in the car repair industry. I love this place so much, that I literally plan to bring my car to San Diego just to get the next maintenance repair done on it. I will happily spend the day in the ocean while my car gets worked on by Speedy Auto. Seriously can't say enough good things about this place. 10/10 Highly Recommend.
