I love this place! Prices are really fair, and the customer support was top notch. They've helped me twice in a week and have made a loyal customer.

Had a leak that I thought was oil coming from the oil change I had a month earlier from Jiffy lube next door. Went to check and Jiffy lube said it wasn't from their oil change....coming from crankshaft seal. They took a day to fix it and a smog check and fluids replaced. I think they did a good job as my 2002 Toyota 4-runner is not leaking anymore.

I have an older car that needed Star Certification. That's pretty scary because you are at the mercy of the Smog Station. It's very easy for them to fail the smog test without an issue, you can fail alone for not passing a visual test. This is how many disreputable smog businesses make easy money - because you just want to get it over with, you'll pay whatever they ask to fix whatever is causing the car to fail smog testing. Not Speedy Auto & Smog. No tricks, they're completely honest and straightforward. If you have any worries in advance, call them and they'll help you know what you need to do to have the car pass. They don't play games. It's family owned, the lowest price I found anywhere and the staff couldn't be more pleasant. For a process that usually is a headache, they take all the worry away. On top of all that, they work fast. I brought a newspaper with me to pass the time, before I finished the first story, they were done. I'm sending all my friends and will return whenever I need a smog certification.

Speedy Auto Repair continues to provide me with excellent and personalized service for my car. They step up to the plate and I have been dissatisfied. They will explain the problem, show you the problem and repair it most often fairly quickly unless it is major but within the day if possible. I trust them to take car of my vehicle without fail.

When I came here for my Smog inspection, I was impressed by the service and wonderful attitude they had towards me. They made me feel comfortable and had no problems answering any of my questions. I'm back again to have the oil change and a general inspection before I go on a long road trip cross country. I got the exact same service as last time and they went through the process of how they were going to service my car. I appreciate finding a repair shop that works with their customers and tries to keep an open dialogue so that you don't feel like you are in the dark about what is being done on your car. Plus you don't feel like you are being nickled and dimed by the mechanics. If you are looking for a honest place to bring your car, this place is it!!

So the DMV required a STAR certified smog station and after a scam experience at Clairemont Auto Care I ended up at Speedy on a Saturday afternoon. Boy they ARE fast! Not only that they understood that a lit up check-vehicle-light is not a check-engine-light and has nothing to do with smog. When I asked them to top off some freon in my A/C they did that for free! I was out of there in 15 minutes. This is a family business, father and son were extremely nice and fun to talk to. The father let me know that I should go and have my transmission flushed "by my house mechanic" and presented the evidence as well. Also, he showed me the spot where my freon sneaks out of the A/C. That's how business should be conducted. See you next time!

Was hearing noises from beneath the car so I brought my 2002 Highlander to Raad to have it checked out, as his work is always thorough, well done, and reasonable. It turned out I needed rear brake pads, bearings, an axle assembly and a hub(!), so I was glad to have them do all the work, which would likely have cost twice as much at the Toyota dealership. I was relieved to have the work done by Raad, knowing the quality of his diagnosis and work. I will be back for oil changes and any needed maintenance or repairs without hesitation. Danny in the front office is also very knowledgeable, and pleasant. I guess it goes without saying that I highly recommend this place!

They did excellent work on my 10 year old Sienna. Elsewhere it would have cost much, much more (I did two quotes)! Also a 10% discount for new customers, and 2% off if paid with check or cash. These guys are trustworthy and know what they are doing! Regarding the Smog issue some of you talked about, usually a cheaper price is for a smaller vehicle. If you read the print larger vehicles cost more. Haven't found a better mechanic than these brothers and family! Thank you!
